Residency: Medical Center of Central Georgia
Dr. Falany is a Board Certified OB/GYN with hometown roots; a native of Canton, Georgia. She is the eldest daughter of former Reinhardt College President Dr. Floyd Falany.
Upon completion of an undergraduate course marked by academic achievement, Angela Falany was accepted to the Medical School at Mercer University. She graduated in 1993 and remained at Mercer to assume a one-year Clinical Faculty position.
Dr. Falany went on to receive her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Since 1998, Dr. Falany has been in private practice with her husband, Dr. Michael Hulse. Together, they enjoy all aspects of women’s health and are currently serving the surrounding counties with office locations in East Ellijay and Canton, Georgia. |

Residency: Mercer University
Dr. Hulse received his medical training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. In 1991, upon completion of his medical degree, he assumed a one-year Clinical Faculty position at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He also received his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Mercer University.
Since 1998, Dr. Hulse has been in private practice with his wife, Dr. Angela Falany. He is currently Chief of Medical Staff at Northside Hospital-Cherokee and enjoys serving the healthcare needs of women in the surrounding counties through his office locations in East Ellijay and Canton, Georgia.
Dr. Hulse is a Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has active memberships with numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists and the American Medical Association. |

Medical Schoool: Georgetown University
Residency: Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia
Dr. Lawrence is a Board Eligible OB/GYN who was born in New York, NY. She attended the University of California, Irvine, where she completed her Bachelor of Science/Biology in 1997. Dr. Lawrence attained her medical degree in 2004 after completing a post baccalaureate and medical school programs at Georgetown University.
In 2008 she completed her residency training at Philadelphia Hospital where she received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award. After giving birth to a beautiful baby girl in the summer of 2008, Dr. Lawrence and her husband Chris, moved to Canton, Georgia and joined Falany & Hulse Women’s Center. She is trained in the latest gynecological procedures and obstetrical care. Complimenting doctors Falany & Hulse with her dynamic personality, she delivers the highest quality care set by the practice.
With the addition of Dr. Lawrence, Falany & Hulse Women’s Center has been able to expand their service area by opening an additional office in the Hickory Flat area of Canton. Dr. Lawrence has been a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2004. She enjoys playing basketball, reading, and spending time with her family. |

Residency: Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, Pennsylvania
Fellowship: National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland
Dr. Rush received his medical training at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital, outside Philadelphia in 1994. Dr. Rush also completed a year of clinical fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Rush has been in private practice for the past 14 years in the Philadelphia area. He now resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife and 2 teenage children. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
When not working, Dr. Rush enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and golf, and running.

Graduate School: Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing Undergraduate Nursing School : Columbus State University
Carson completed her graduate program at Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing with a Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Nurse Midwifery with honors in May 2010. Carson graduated as a registered nurse (RN) from Columbus State University in May of 1999. She is a nationally certified registered nurse in Inpatient Obstetrics, a CPR instructor, and maintains her certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP). Additionally, she has received specialized training in Implanon implantable contraception.
In 1999, Carson immediately began working in Labor and Delivery and always had the dream of becoming a nurse midwife after her first encounter with a nurse-midwife when she was expecting her own baby. She knew from that moment forward that she wanted to provide safe, holistic care to women and their families throughout preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, and the many important years to follow. She wanted to be a nurse-midwife that partnered with the expectant mother to provide education, support, and to empower the woman to achieve the experience she desires.
During her career as a RN, she worked in Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and completed training & an internship as a First Assistant in GYN/ OB surgery. She has worked closely with Dr. Falany & Dr. Hulse as a Labor & Delivery nurse since 2000 while caring for many of their laboring and postpartum women.
She is a member of the American College of Midwifery (ACNM).
Carson has lived in the Canton & Acworth area since 2000. When not working, Carson enjoys traveling, scuba diving, photography, movies, theater, and most of all……spending time with her four wonderful children! |

Medical School: Emory University School of Allied Health, Physician Associate
Program, 1986
Michelle attended Emory University as an undergraduate where she pursued a Biology degree with an emphasis in Medical Genetics. She was awarded the "Academic Award of Excellence" for graduating first in her class from the Physician Associate program in 1986.
Michelle is nationally certified in primary care and surgery. Additionally, she has received specialized training in Implanon implantable contraception and hormone pellet implants.
Early in her career, Michelle provided emergency medical care in Grady Hospital’s high volume Gynecology Emergency Clinic. This provided excellent experience in a broad range of medical and surgical problems, but lacked the continuity of care that Michelle enjoys. She returned to private practice in 1991 and has continued to provide care for the women in her community since then.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician's Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and is a supporter of The American Red Cross and several cancer research organizations.
When not working Michelle enjoys time with her husband and their two daughters, church activities, walking her dogs, reading and travel. |
